Holding, moving and controlling the Jacaranda ball with a total weight of approximately 500 grams and the rolling filling inside the ball simultaneously demands several senses. The handling of the Jacaranda ball is similar to that in the hand holding a bowl filled with some liquid, whereby the contents should always remain in the bowl during a movement sequence.
Jacaranda is originally the name of a tree with wide spreading branches. The branches represent our arms during the exercises. The tree trunk is our torso (trunk). As the branches move in the wind, we filling of the Jacaranda during the movement, the tree trunk / our trunk muscles, have to stabilize. The more extensive the branches, the more physically the arms are held, the more holding work is required by the deep torso muscles.
If the tree bears fruit, we hold the approximately 400 grams in one hand, the body center also stabilizes our upright posture.
A gentle challenge for your local stabilizers, such as the pelvic floor, parts of the oblique abdominal muscles, the transversus muscle, the autochthonous back muscles and parts of the diaphragm.
