Successful TOGU training and networking event on 6 April with 200 participants
One day before the start of the FIBO trade fair , on 6 April , TOGU organised an industry meeting in the congress centre of Cologne Trade Fair. The International TOGU Day has become a popular training and networking event in the industry. The prime manufacturer of air-filled training and therapy equipment presented a diverse theoretical and practical programme around the subject “Focusing on the fasciae in training and therapy” to participants and partners from the industry.
This year’s speakers included Dr. Robert Schleip, Gabi Fastner and Christoph Stumpf.
Dr. Robert Schleip (Director of the Fascia Research Group , Ulm University):
“Targeted trainability of the fasciae: What does current research say?”
“More than ever, the subject of “Fasciae” is in the limelight in sports, medicine and fitness. Our goal is to explain, discuss and differentiate research statuses, facts and speculations. This is the only way of making this subject transparent and guaranteeing safety. The TOGU Day was the ideal platform for this, as well as being great fun.”
Gabi Fastner (trainer and speaker for fitness and gymnastics):
“Fascia release with the Actiroll® and TOGU fascial circuit: stable and dynamic.”
“The TOGU Day is the perfect networking event for the industry. Participants are provided with a diverse programme about a current subject. The combination of a practical part where numerous different pieces of TOGU training equipment are provided and exciting theoretical presentations is unique and an absolute highlight to start FIBO.”
Wolfgang Moosleitner (TOGU Sales Manager)
“The participants’ feedback from the International TOGU Day is fantastic and
confirms our goal of making this day a regular training and networking event before FIBO starts. All presentations were met with great enthusiasm by the approximately 200 experts.”
The subject of “Fasciae” is more popular than ever
Thanks to medical research, this topic is becoming increasingly tangible, enriching sports and fitness. Because every body structure is surrounded by fasciae.
This connective tissue is very important for an athlete’s performance
as well as for prevention and rehabilitation. A well trained and integrated fascia network
affects strength development and transmission, it optimises the resilience of tendons
and ligaments and prevents muscle injury. TOGU has developed flexible and innovative sports products for the appropriate training. The air-filled Actiroll® is the
first fascia roll where the degree of firmness can be adjusted seamlessly , by pump , to the needs of
the individual user.
